The Gold Coast Waterways Authority (GCWA) is a dedicated body established to strategically plan for, facilitate and manage the development and use of the waterways so they remain clean, safe and accessible now and into the future.

The GCWA manages the waterways south of the Logan River to the New South Wales border.
The Gold Coast Waterways Authority has been established to deliver the best possible management of the Gold Coast waterways at reasonable cost to the community and government, while keeping regulation to a minimum.
